The table plan is created on the management page using a computer mouse. It is not possible to do this via a touchscreen.

Creating the table plan proceeds through the following steps:

  1. Determine the area
  2. Furnish the area
  3. Set the table characteristics
  4. Save the table plan
  5. Move tables

The table layout page:

The page is opened via settings (1) - Tables and Reservations (2):

We distinguish:

  • the vertical menu bar (3): Table layout is done via 'Areas', the other buttons are used to manage reservations.
  • The dropdown button floor or additional floor (4): Here you choose which area will be edited or a new area can be created.
  • The furnishing elements (5)
  • The table plan (6)

Determining the area:

This is very simple by giving a name via the '+' in the pop-up and confirming:

Then a new area is created and a blank table plan appears:

Furnishing the area:

Various tools are available for this. The plan is furnished by dragging the elements onto the table plan and the shape of the elements can be adjusted by clicking on them and then changing the height and/or width with the mouse.

  1. square/rectangular table
  2. round/oval table
  3. rectangular object used for illustration only
  4. flower arrangement
  5. name window
  6. number of seats for reservation
  7. QR code linking for orders by customers at the table
  8. determine the color of the table. This is strongly discouraged because different colors are assigned to a table during the use of the table function
  9. the Delete button

Setting table characteristics:

Each table is given a name which is entered in the name window.

Then the minimum and maximum value is assigned regarding the number of seats for the reservation module. This setting determines whether a table can or cannot be booked for the requested number of people.

Optionally, a QR code can also be assigned with which customers can directly place orders and/or payments via their smartphone that are booked to the table. This linking is done as follows:

Via the link 'QR code linking', a pop-up appears with the possible QR codes:

When the QR code is assigned, the link appears:

Saving the table plan:

Indeed, a separate mention to save via the 'Save' button

This is because it usually takes some time to create a correct table plan and if you forget this last step, you have to enter everything again!

Tip: saving regularly during the creation ensures that not all work can be lost.
