This chapter explains the following functionalities:
opening hours:
The settings (1) - opening hours (2) determine when an order can be picked up or delivered. The time at which the order is placed does not depend on this. An order can perfectly well be placed outside opening hours to be picked up during opening hours.
The open days are determined by ticking the corresponding field (3).
Then the start hour of the day and the end hour of the day are entered (4).
Interruptions in the opening hours are entered via the pause button (5):
After entry is confirmed via the ‘add’ button and the break entry is closed via ‘close’.
This can be entered per day, but there is also the possibility to copy day settings to other days via the ‘copy’ button.
On the webshop, the opening hours are shown as follows:
Holidays:
When a holiday period is set, consumers will not be able to place an order for collection or delivery during this period.
Setting is done via settings (1) - holiday (2) - add holiday period (3):
The first day of the period and the last day of the holiday period are entered here as well as the start hour and end hour. By default, a period starts at 00:00 and ends at 23:59 but this can be changed:
A message appears on the webshop during the holiday period (1) and a button (2) allows the customer to see the details of the period:
Days available:
When it is known in advance which days the webshop will be open, these days can be set:
Manual activation is set up via available days (1) in the settings (2). All days on which orders can be placed can be set via the calendar (3) after which these settings are saved (4). It is effectively only these individual days on which orders will be able to be placed.
Importantly, this function takes precedence over opening days and hours as well as holiday periods. This is a function that is rather rarely used when relatively few days per year can be ordered!
